THE RESORT

The Grounds and Surrounding Location | Maui Banyan Resort

The Maui Banyan is named after the stately banyan tree, one of the most beautiful trees of Hawaii, distinguished by the large, impressive canopy it creates. Maui Banyan Resort is home to several of these majestic trees and is located across from Kamaole Beach II, one of Maui’s finest beaches.

When you stay at Maui Banyan Q106, the ocean is a short walk away. Enjoy walking the manicured grounds, along with the shade of the banyan trees, while the palm trees sway in the tropical breeze. Cross the street and you will find yourself on one of Maui’s gorgeous white sand beaches, ideal for casual strolls, swimming, and sunbathing, or enjoying one of Maui’s famous sunsets. Snorkel in the shallow waters and see the tropical fish, including an occasional turtle. Play a set on the tennis court, take a cooling dip in one of the two swimming pools, or relax in one of the soothing hot tubs. There are several barbeque stations at both pools, along with covered patio dining, so that you can enjoy a meal poolside, perfect for families. Also, Kihei is located on the sunny side of the island, but only 10 miles from Kahului and the airport.
